Additional Payments for all Competitive Athletes
1. Volunteering and Volunteering Cheque As with any sports club volunteering in an important aspect of keeping the club strong. The following is Calgary Elite Synchro's Volunteer Policy.
We recognize that some families are not able to do any volunteering. If that is the case please note our Buy Out policy and provide us with a post dated cheque.
The club requires 1 post-dated cheque for $1000, dated May 1, 2024 brought to the September 2023 all-parent meeting. This cheque will only be cashed if your family does not fulfill its volunteer obligations, or, if you choose to buy-out your volunteer duties.
Casino: All members are required to volunteer time to our Casino regardless of any other volunteer duties. This is a very important part of our financial sustainability. Once we know when the club is designated to take part in a Casino we will let everyone know. Members are not allowed to opt out of the Casino.
2. Clothing & Equipment An athlete can expect to incur an additional $200 to $500 in expenses for team suits, figures suit, white caps, noseclips, goggles, outerwear for competitions, and routine suits. (Club suit and 1 Club cap are included with fees)
Fundraising Fundraising is offered throughout the year. It is a way to help the club and your account by taking part in all the fundraising offered by the club. We strongly suggest that all families take part in these events. We will have a bottle drive in October and January that are mandatory for families to participate in. (Unless the buy out is paid)
